Iowa Hope Run, Where Community Meets Hope
An annual event bringing runners, walkers, families, and supporters together each May to turn hope into action and raise awareness for brain tumors.

WHO WE ARE
The Iowa Hope Run is Iowa’s largest brain tumor awareness event. Held annually each May, our race brings communities together to honor loved ones, support survivors, and stand with families impacted by brain tumors.
Whether you walk, run, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, every participant plays a role in raising awareness and supporting organizations that make a real difference.
This is more than a race — it’s a day of remembrance, resilience, and hope.

WHY WE RUN
Brain tumors impact individuals and families in every community. The Iowa Hope Run exists to raise awareness, foster connection, and provide meaningful support through trusted nonprofit partners.
Proceeds from the event benefit organizations dedicated to brain tumor research, patient support, and family services — helping ensure no one faces this journey alone.
COMMUNITY-LED & GRASSROOTS
The Iowa Hope Run is proudly community-led and volunteer-driven. Organized by local advocates and supported by participants across the state, our event remains focused on impact, transparency, and connection.
Many participants return year after year — running in honor, walking in remembrance, and showing up for those who need hope most.
